Final Pitch

There are three steps of this assignment – (1) create a PowerPoint (2) Activate the Voice Thread link on your computer watching the video tutorial that I have provided below, and (3) upload your PowerPoint using VoiceThread that will allow you to record your voice while the PowerPoint runs.

Step 1

Through this semester, with each assignment, you have been covering different components of your Business Model. As you worked through the different components, you made changes to your original idea, tweaked your product idea, carefully rethought your value proposition based on customer insights. Now it is time to present what you have learned and pitch your final product/service idea.

Your PowerPoint presentation will have between 10-12 slides.  It is a slide deck — and therefore, popularly known as the Pitch Deck.  These are some suggested slides.  Here is a sample of pitch decks from other Startups. http://onboardly.com/startup-pr/best-startup-pitch-decks-of-all-time/

What your pitch deck may look like:

  1. New Product Idea: Problem-Solution
  2. Industry Analysis: Opportunities & Threats
  3. Business Model
  4. Customer Insights
  5. Revenue Model
  6. Financial Plan
  7. Marketing Plan

After you complete your PowerPoint presentation (see Guy Kawasaki’s video – the 10-20-30 rule on what not to do while creating a PowerPoint – it is entertaining, as well), upload it via the assignment link to WordPress.
