The founder I thought most interesting was Maggie Doyne. I found her project the most interesting because I dont hear many people bringing orphans from different parts of the world, back to america, giving them the life they deserve with proper education and living situations.

I think it depends on what the funds are being invested in, if that is an ethical situation or not. I think Maggie’s situation would be ethical.

I think even though profit and social responsibility are two separate things, you can sometimes get profit from being socially responsible. Sometimes, you dont.

I agree with Maggie D. project being the most interesting because you don’t hear about people going to another country to help orphans.

Since many orphans are abandoned, Maggie going to the Himalayas to help them was a wonderful thing that was done. Maggie brought them back to the United States to give them education and provided housing. This probably gave the kids a sense that they’re worth something and that they will not be abandoned again.
