The way Dropbox has innovated in many ways in order to add value their customers has been allowing them now to scan documents and save them directly to Dropbox. As Dennis Woodside mentions about there being a lot of mobile workers nowadays and everything is now electronic. This feature of Dropbox allows work to become easier and more convenient to its customers which is what all customers want. Their innovations came from their workers themselves and an event called “Hack Week” where they let all their engineers minds run free and allow them to create and come up with any idea they’ve been having or have been wanting to do. Therefore, if the idea or creation succeeds then it’ll be looked upon and requested to be added to Dropbox. From there it helps expand what Dropbox is and allows them to give more than what they used to offer and help make customers lives easier.

Yes, making consumers lives easier is important to business as a matter of fact, having a product or business is suppose to lessen pain according to our downloaded text chapter 1. This “Hack week” is definitely a strength in the their business as well as an opportunity. Businesses that include their workers to bring new ideas really implements the idea of teamwork.
