I am in the home appliance industry. More specifically, I am selling steam irons. One of my closest competitors is RowentaUSA. The other close competitor is shark irons. These competitors are offering their products around 40 to 70 dollars per steam iron. I am going to offer my product around 80 to 100 dollars per steam iron. Based on the Trends for 2017 article, just like Fisher Price, I am also going to use the Smashing the Norms trend strategy because I noticed that the dry cleaning business has gone down. So this probably means that people want to iron their own clothes at home but they just need the right pro that will adjust to any type of fabric.
